This piece began during a visit to London, where I experienced intense sensory overwhelm — the kind that builds quietly until your whole body feels wired. I created Fear Released as a way to process that overload, combining the harsh rhythms of the city with the soft refuge of the natural world.
It’s designed to be experienced in nature: through headphones, in solitude. The audience stands still, hearing the chaos of traffic, industry, and dissonance, while visually surrounded by trees, grass, sky. The clash between external calm and internal tension evokes a powerful shift in awareness.
