Most brand identity projects are completed within 2–5 weeks from the point of approval on the mood board stage. More complex projects or those requiring hand drawn custom elements may take a little longer. I'll always give you a clear timeline before I begin so you know exactly what to expect.

You'll complete a detailed and customised brand questionnaire covering your business, your clients, your vision and any visual references you love. The more detail you give me at this stage the better - it's where the whole design process begins. You don't need to have everything figured out. That's what the discovery process is for.

The detail we go into prior to me designing will hopefully mean this won’t happen! However, two rounds of revisions are included as standard so we have plenty of opportunity to fine tune until everything feels exactly right. In my experience if the questionnaire and mood board stages are done thoroughly the final designs land really well - because the design comes from understanding, not guesswork. If you need additional revision rounds beyond the two included, these are available at £75 each.

Once your brand identity package is complete, you'll receive a full set of files organised into clear, labelled folders so you always know exactly what to use and where.

Vector logo files
Vector files are built from mathematical points rather than pixels, so they scale to any size (from a favicon to a shop front sign) without ever losing quality.

• .EPS – a universal vector format, handy for print shops and older design software.

• .SVG – a lightweight vector file, perfect for web developers building your site or app.

• .PDF – a high-resolution vector document, ideal for sending to printers.

Your logo files are delivered with the text converted to outlines (shapes rather than editable font). This means your logo will always display correctly, on any device or software, without needing the original font installed.

(Your master working file is kept on file with me, so if you ever need edits or new variations down the line, just get in touch - no need for you to own specialist design software.)

Raster image files
Raster files are made of pixels and are best for everyday digital use.

• .PNG – has a transparent background, so it sits neatly over photos or coloured backgrounds.

• .JPG / .JPEG – has a solid background, great for general sharing and quick use.

Brand guidelines and assets

• .PDF Brand Style Guide – your reference document, covering logo usage, colour codes (CMYK, RGB, HEX) and font names.

• Fonts – I'll name the exact font(s) used in your brand guide. If it's a free, open-source font, I'll include the files. If it's a licensed font, I'll point you to where to buy your own licence should you want to use it beyond the logo (in Canva, social graphics, packaging, etc.).

Everything arrives neatly organised, along with a short document explaining how and when to use each file type, so you'll never have to guess which one to reach for.

Yes - completely. Once final payment is received your brand identity is entirely yours. You'll receive all files in every format you need - AI, EPS, PNG, SVG, JPG and PDF - along with your brand style guide so you always know how to use everything correctly.

Absolutely - and actually this is the ideal way to do it. Your brand identity is the foundation everything else is built on. Getting it right first means your website, your photography and your social content all feel connected and intentional from day one. Many clients start with branding and return for their website a few weeks or months later once they're ready.
